Casual Attire: Anything goes, just be sure to bring warm layers for when the sun goes down. Our Humboldt beaches are often chilly! Also consider wearing comfortable clothes if you will participate in volleyball or other activities.
We will be hosting a casual dinner and Polterabend close to our wedding venue the evening before the wedding. If you are in town early, we hope you might join us for dinner and to kick off our wedding with the fun German wedding tradition "Polterabend". This is where we welcome our guests to break household porcelain items in order to bring us good luck in our marriage! Consider Bringing: Porcelain items you don't mind breaking! Please NO GLASS NOTE: Parking will be at Oyster Beach, across the street from the Humboldt Bay Social Club, overflow parking will be at the Humboldt Bay Social Club. The party will be past the gated driveway in the direction of cabins. Look for signs to guide you to the party!

Beach Fancy Attire: In other words, feel festive, be comfortable and bring a jacket!
Our wedding ceremony will be at Oyster Beach, the same venue as the Polterabend from the night before. Please join us for a beachside ceremony at 3:00pm, where we will then walk over to the Humboldt Bay Social Club for our reception. *Please do not bring outside alcohol to the reception space! There is no outside alcohol allowed at the Social Club. NOTE: Parking will be at the Humboldt Bay Social Club and is limited. Please consider carpooling in order to minimize overflow. When you park at the Social Club, walk across the street to Oyster Beach, this is past the gated driveway in the direction of cabins. Look for signs to guide you to the ceremony!

If you are still in town Saturday afternoon, we would love to see you one more time and reminisce about the evening! Snacks will be provided. NOTE: The location of the Saturday party has changed! We will no longer be at Humboldt Bay Provisions in Eureka as previously mentioned, but at Septentrio Winery in Arcata.
