Things To Do

Chesapeake City is a delightful city to explore. It has beautiful views of the canal and quaint shops. Some favorite shops include Belle on Bohemia, Chicks, The Mercantile at Back Creek, and The Old Gray Mare Gift Shop. Into history? Visit the Chesapeake City Museum or the C&D Canal Museum. Need to drink to get through weddings? There are a number of wonderful wineries near Chesapeake City. If you would like to get some exercise, cross the bridge to the north shore of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. There, you can access the Ben Cardin C&D Canal Recreational Trail, which offers a scenic walking and biking route. It even connects to Lums Pond State Park!
