This gem was from Matt and Heather's first date. Matt asked Heather out in December 2021, and their first date was on December 22, 2021.

Early in the relationship, Matt traveled down to Chestertown to cook Heather some zuppa toscana soup. Matt is a well-known soup fiend.

Steff enjoyed taking creepy "paparazzi" photos early in Matt and Heather's relationship.

Matt came down to Chestertown for his and Heather's first Valentine's Day as a couple. It was a wonderfully cheesy date.

Mardu often accompanies Matt on his travels down to Chestertown. Matt and Mardu helped Heather clean up her yard on this day.

Easter 2022 was so beautiful. The Zerbe/Watkins families sat down for the Easter meal together. Matt and Heather took a walk after Easter dinner, and took a lovely picture with a blooming tree.

For Heather's "spring break," Matt and Heather took a trip to Watkins Glen State Park in New York.

Heather played DnD for the first time--with Matt as the DM. It was a Jane Austen adventure.

After nine months of dating, on September 24, 2022, Matt proposed on the dock in Heather's neighborhood. She said "YES!"

In fall 2022, Heather and Matt celebrated their engagement, and Heather "proposed" to her bridesmaids.

Heather wanted to see Valley Forge, PA, so Matt took her there for her 36th birthday.
