When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony starts at 3:00 pm, but there might be a line for the valet parking at the Chesapeake Inn, and the church is about a two-minute walk away from the Inn. Leave yourself a little wiggle room!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please wear cocktail attire--pretty dresses and suits. A coat check will be available at the reception.

Can I bring a date?

We are keeping our wedding fairly small, so people specifically listed on the invitations are the people who are invited.

Are kids welcome?

We love kids, but only kids who are part of the "wedding party" are invited.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Please use the valet parking that is provided by the Chesapeake Inn. When arriving in Chesapeake City for the wedding, drive straight to the entrance of the Chesapeake Inn--where the reception will take place. Tell the valet that you're there for the Zerbe/Watkins wedding. Then, the valet will give you a ticket, take your key, and park your car free of charge. Keep your ticket! They will retrieve your car for you after the reception is over. The church where the wedding will take place is a two-minute walk from the Chesapeake Inn. What kinds of foods will be served?

Answer

The food at Chesapeake Inn is amazing! There will be hors d'oeuvres provided during the cocktail hour, and then a full buffet dinner. The buffet will have a salad, a chicken option, and a fish option. For dessert, we will have delicious Amish pies and treats.
