Matron of Honor
Melissa is Virginia’s work-wife but has reluctantly agreed to share her with Matt and not just because she gets to buy a new dress for the wedding.
Best Man
Matt takes exception to the term “best man,” because he has not met all the men and cannot verify this. He concedes that Paul is pretty excellent, though. Paul is Matt’s very favorite board-gamer and is also married to the Matron of Honor, which is both sweet and logistically convenient.
Bridesmaid
Margot and Virginia attended the University of Mary Washington together, where they once dressed as old-timey prostitutes and challenged passers-by to games of poker in exchange for skittles. They were also in a pretty serious RockBand (tm) band called “The Batcave Harlots” (they only performed twice but they did have shirts made). Please ask Margot about old Westerns or Tarot—she will blow your mind.
Groomsman
Bettis and Matt became friends through Dungeons and Dragons. He is positively delightful and shares the couple’s love for skeletons.
Bridesmaid
If Melissa is Virginia’s work-wife, Ren is Virginia’s partner in screaming into the void that is mental health services in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Don’t get us started! Fun fact, Ren’s mother is also Matt’s boss, meaning that both the Bride and Groom spend more time with Faszewski women than each other.
Groomsman
ChrisMay (tm) was Matt’s very first D&D guru. They also share the common interest of looking much younger than they are. ChrisMay is the couple’s primary source of information about ghosts.
