The closest major airport is Aberdeen which is 40 minutes away, while Edinburgh airport is 2 hours. You can also take the train from London to Montrose, about 15 minutes away (with some beautiful views along the way). We recommend renting a car and exploring the surrounding area! August is grouse season in Scotland, so hotels and lodging are booking up fast. We recommend you book as soon as possible - there are lots of airbnbs in the area, or you can check out some of the recommendations below. We will have space for camping too if you fancy bringing a tent or a camper van!
