Friday night: We are foregoing a traditional rehearsal dinner as we want to see as many of you as possible! Let us know where you are planning to be and we will try to swing by to say hi. We do plan on having some drinks at Glenesk Hotel in Edzell if you would like to join us for an informal drink. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in the area if you are looking for somewhere to eat - please see below for for our recommendations. Sunday: we will be hosting a laid-back BBQ that everyone is welcome to swing by on Sunday afternoon, starting at 1pm. There will be lawn games, live music and speeches, hair of the dog beers, and hopefully some time to recover in the sunshine. No need to dress up for this!

Shuttles will be operating from a small selection of nearby hotels in Edzell (Glenesk Hotel, Panmure Arms etc.). We will also have a local taxi on standby, but we recommend booking taxis in advance. Yes, kids are welcome! Although if you want to leave them at home so you can party til the wee hours of the morning that's fine too :)
Dress code is semi-formal, but feel free to wear what you feel good in! The theme is festival glam, think Glastonbury in the Scottish highlands (kilts and tartans welcome!). But please wear comfortable shoes, and remember it might be wet or chilly.
We will have food trucks that have vegetarian options. If you have a severe allergy please email ceciliabetsill@gmail.com and we can arrange something.
