Chico Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa

163 Chico Road, Pray, MT 59065
 (406) 333-4933

Dear Friends - The historic Chico Hot Springs resort is a place where you can relax and have all of your needs covered with their incredible food and recreation, in addition to the relaxing thermal pools (and waterside bar). Our wedding weekend has been designed to maximize quality time together rather than shuttling from venue to venue for wedding activities. Our hope is that once you arrive, you can unpack your bag and spend the weekend relaxing in a place we so love. The rooms in our block are reserved from Friday to Sunday, but please inquire with the resort if you want to extend your stay on either end. Rooms at Chico can fill up quickly but we have a range of options pre-reserved as a part of our block. Some rooms have bathrooms, a sink only, or neither--there are multiple shared bathrooms on each floor of the historic lodge, so please inquire about the amenities of your room if having a private bathroom is a priority for you. Unfortunately, you cannot reserve these rooms online--you will have to call and ask for a room in the GLANVILLE/FOSS Wedding Block. You can reach the reservation desk at 406-333-4933. If there are any issues, ask for Aisling Joseph, Chico's Group Reservation Specialist. Please book your accommodations at Chico (or elsewhere, depending on your needs) well in advance. Chico has a generous and flexible cancellation policy if you need to adjust your reservations.

Bozeman Yellowstone Airport

Chico Hot Springs is 60 miles from the Bozeman/Yellowstone Airport, with a full suite of rental cars and ride share options available. We strongly recommend booking your rental car in advance, rather than upon arrival at the airport. Weather in Montana can always be unpredictable and the road to Chico does travel over the Bozeman Pass - not as dramatic as some mountain roads, but can still be tricky in inclement weather. We've organized the weekend so all wedding events are on property at Chico Hot Spring to minimize any logistical hassles (and maximize time soaking, relaxing and celebrating together). Chico is within close proximity to one of the world's greatest National Parks (The Northern Entrance to Yellowstone is just 35 miles down the highway). All roads in the park are usually open in October, except for Dunraven Pass, which closes in mid-October. The Beartooth Highway (Matt's favorite), east of Cooke City, also usually closes around mid-October but may be open. That said, park road openings are always contingent on weather so it's best to check their website before heading out.

Alternative Accommodations

Pray, MT 59047

Though we highly recommend staying at Chico, we know folks may be looking for other options to fit their needs or if rooms at Chico are unfortunately booked. There are a number of VRBO and Air BnB options available in Paradise Valley as well as other lodges. Search for properties close to Pray or Emigrant, MT. Though there are lodging options in Livingston, Gardner and Bozeman, unpredictable weather could make logistics difficult and we've chosen Chico not only for its flexible accommodations but for how self-contained the property can be as we celebrate together.
