Visa Information

U.S. passport holders are currently required to obtain a tourist visa prior to travel. The application is completed online through Brazil’s official e-Visa platform: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com We strongly recommend applying well in advance of the wedding to allow plenty of processing time. The process is straightforward and completed entirely online, and once approved, your e-Visa will be sent electronically. The tourist visa is valid for up to 10 years, so you will have plenty of flexibility for your travel dates. Please also ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned arrival date.

For our guests traveling from the United States (or elsewhere), your final destination airport is: Maringá Regional Airport (MGF) 📍 Maringá, Paraná, Brazil We highly recommend flying into São Paulo (GRU – Guarulhos International Airport) first, as it offers the most international flight options and typically the best pricing. From São Paulo, you can take a short domestic flight (about 1 hour) directly to Maringá. While Rio de Janeiro is also an option, São Paulo is usually the smoothest and most convenient connection point. We recommend booking flights early, as domestic Brazilian routes can fill up quickly. Once you arrive in Maringá, everything is conveniently located and easy to access by Uber or taxi we can also arrange a reliable shuttle service for your convenience. Pros: • Excellent value and very comfortable • Indoor pool, gym, breakfast included • Slightly closer to the venue than downtown options Cons: • Not very walkable to major sightseeing • Still requires Uber/taxi to explore
