Lao Wei Dao 老味道

Lao Wei Dao 老味道

3875 Venture Drive, Duluth, GA 30096

<Chinese supermarket food courts are unmatched> Description: Cathy's family originates from Kaifeng, China, the home of GuanTangBao, the precursor to the modern day XiaoLongBao. Lao Wei Dao's soup dumplings offer the closest taste to Kaifeng that Cathy has been able to find in the United States. While the restaurant is located in the food court of a Chinese supermarket, don't judge a book by its cover - this place will dazzle your taste buds and warm your heart. Our Order: Soup Dumplings Shanghai Shaomai Zongzi

Chirori - Omakase & Sushi

Chirori - Omakase & Sushi

349 14th Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30318

<Max ate 13 courses of fish and enjoyed it (max hates fish)> Description: Chirori offers both omakase and sit-down dining experiences, although we have generally preferred the omakase both for the intimacy of the experience, where the chef serves the sushi directly to you catered towards your tastes, and the extremely high quality of the fish, which is flown in directly from Japan. Our Order: Omakase

9292 Korean BBQ

9292 Korean BBQ

3360 Satellite Boulevard, Duluth, GA 30096

<Real charcoal, real K-BBQ> Description: This all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ uses charcoal grills that add a flavor to meat and veggies that is incomparable. You'll leave full and smelling like smoke (don't worry it washes out of clothes!). Of course, there is plenty of banchan (delicious side dishes) to go around! Our Order: Combo C

La Grotta Ristorante

La Grotta Ristorante

2637 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30305

<Relive our four-year anniversary> Description: No city is complete without a fancy Italian restaurant in the cellar in a condo building. While there is a dress code, the pillowy sacchetti, flavorful risotto, and fresh carpaccio make the time spent dressing up completely worth it. No one can say it better than the owner of La Grotta - "when we look good, we feel good." Our Order: Carpaccio di Tonno con Avocado e Caperi Sacchetti di Formaggio e Tartufi Neri Risotto di Funghi

LanZhou Ramen

LanZhou Ramen

5231 Buford Highway Northeast, Doraville, GA 30340

Sitting on the hard chairs at the sometimes wobbly tables, you'll be served a whole meal in a bowl that will soothe your worries and appetite. Our Order: Beef Hand-Pulled Noodle Soup with Thick Noodles (牛肉拉面) Pork Chinese Burger (猪肉夹馍)

Dan Moo Ji

Dan Moo Ji

3230 Steve Reynolds Boulevard, Duluth, GA 30096

<Our favorite place for a quick meal> Description: Back when we didn't know each other in high school, we frequented Dan Moo Ji separately with our respective friends. Now, we go there together to reminisce on old memories and enjoy large portions of modern home-style Korean-fusion cuisine that are enough for multiple meals. Our Order: Chicken Omelette Rice Complimentary Fishcake Soup

Tenya Japanese Eatery

Tenya Japanese Eatery

Their rice bowls are packed with flavor and veggies for those looking for a more balanced alternative. Our Order: Japanese Curry Chicken Katsu Sando with Fries Tofu Rice Bowl
