FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding party will be dressed in formal attire, but our guests are welcome to wear whatever is most comfortable, from casual to dressy. Ultimately, we just want you there!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Families with children are welcome to attend our ceremony and reception! Our church has a nursing mother's room attached to the sanctuary for those who need it. Also, seating may be a little tight for the ceremony, so if parents could hold one of their kiddos on their lap, that would be appreciated.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate whether or not you can bring a guest with you. If you are still unsure, feel free to reach out to either Mason or Brianna!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The church's parking lot has limited spaces available but should accommodate most of our guests. For overflow parking, our church has permission from nearby Ozarks Technical College to use one of their parking lots. It is located a block south of the church on the west side of the street. You can also park on the street by the church and in the grass surrounding the church property - don't worry, we do it on Sundays. ;)

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

There will be over an hour of time between the estimated end time of the ceremony and the doors opening at the reception venue. We recommend checking out the "Things To Do" tab of our wedding website for ideas to occupy your time while also exploring some unique corners of Springfield! Psst... we recommend trying one of Springfield's many coffee shops -- Kingdom, Echelon, Eurasia, Coffee Ethic, and Traveler's House are some of our favorites!
