We're getting married!

During the summer of 2023, we both moved back to Springfield, MO, and began attending the same church (Solid Rock) within weeks of each other. Both of us found this small, unassuming church to be a place of profound healing and refreshment after walking through much difficulty in life and ministry. However, despite attending the same church week after week, we didn't cross paths for over 5 months! That is, until one fateful Sunday in mid-January 2024... Each week at our church, the congregation files out of the seats row by row, and each person receives communion at the table in the front of the sanctuary. On this particular Sunday, Mason zigged and Brianna zagged in such a way that the two of us were in line next to each other. Both of us recognized the other from our days attending Evangel University at the same time and struck up a conversation (one could say we "communed" in line for communion). Over the next few weeks, we kept seeking each other out at church, then began texting during the week. Eventually, we went on our first date at Kingdom Coffee. On this date, we shared our stories and talked for over 6 hours (with lunch in between) and haven't parted ever since!
