18 years ago, Alli and MaryAnn met in fourth grade. Since then, they have supported each other through many seasons of life, both good and bad. We love her kids like our own and are so blessed to have them in our lives. We couldn't imagine saying 'I do' without our oldest friend by our side as our Matron of Honor.

Best Man
Since meeting at work in 2018, Jeffrey and Josh have grown as friends and as people. They talk on the phone nearly every day after work to discuss their day and check in on one another. They bring out the best in one another. It means the world to us to have him as our Best Man when we get married.
Danya Hefferan
Sister of the Bride
Since Danya is MaryAnn's older sister, she's been there for her whole life, and MaryAnn couldn’t imagine her wedding day without her sister there. Growing up, Danya was always there to offer advice, a shoulder to cry on, and multiple courses on makeup and hair styling. We can also always count on her to be the life of the party.

Meeting at work in 2024, Alex and MaryAnn became fast friends over their shared love of books and history. They can normally be found hiding in the dark archives at work or chatting about the newest book their book club chose. Alex is also the one who got a quarter of the bridal party into DnD (thanks, Alex).
Amani Ibrahim

Since meeting in 2022, MaryAnn and Amani have found a shared love of crocheting, cats, and art. Amani has introduced both of us to a variety of amazing cuisines and traditions from her culture (she makes some of the best goodies you will ever eat)! Don't be fooled, though; Amani is not someone to be messed with when it comes to board games.

Since meeting at Slippery Rock in 2018, MaryAnn and Crystal have survived undergrad and grad school together. They also kept each other alive during their many trips into the back woods of West Virginia during school. MaryAnn stood by Crystal in her wedding, and she is so grateful to have Crystal do the same for her.
Raechel Olczak

Raechel is Jeffrey's younger sister. Though they are ten years apart, they have a strong bond. She is always there for him, and we frequently meet up either in North Carolina or Virginia to spend time together. Jeffrey is so thankful to have his sister with him on our wedding day.
Sarah Sumulong Jones

Since meeting at work in 2024, MaryAnn and Sarah have bonded over their shared love of cats and animals. They are constantly sharing photos of their fur babies with anyone who asks (or doesn't ask). They also enjoy spending time together in the spring when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom at the museum.
Alexander Olczak

Alex is Jeffrey's brother-in-law. They share a love of food, exploring, and games. Anytime we are together, you can guarantee there will be laughter happening because of the two of them together. We are so grateful for the relationship we have with Alex and enjoy the time we spend together.
Jessie Sumolong

Since meeting in 2024, Jessie and Jeffrey have become very close. They are both great cat dads and enjoy spending time together--be it playing Pokémon, DnD, or trying a new restaurant. They are both quite competitive when it comes to their board games or trivia nights out on the town.
Tyler Welty

Friends since 2024, Tyler and Jeffrey quickly bonded over their love of model trains. They are constantly keeping each other updated on their current project or a new thing they found. Since moving to North Carolina, we still meet up frequently to spend time together. It normally ends up in some form of heated board game.
Miles Goas

Miles is Alli's son; we have loved watching him grow into the strong, confident boy he is today. We are so happy to have him as our ringbearer.
Avanell Goas

Ava is Alli's oldest daughter; she is a sweetheart with a way with animals. We are so happy to have her as one of our flower girls. Hopefully, she doesn't befriend a seagull during the ceremony

Ellie is Alli's youngest daughter; she is full of life, and we love her passion for everything she does. We are so grateful to have her as one of our flower girls.
