It will be outdoors on the pier - weather depending. If it rains, the ceremony will be moved indoors. Please dress accordingly for the weather. There is a high chance of it being windy. We recommend not wearing anything that may get blown into the ocean, and also wearing clothes to keep you warm.
Our dress Code is Semi-Formal. This is your chance to get nice family photos on the beach. Suit jackets and ties are encouraged but not required. Heels can be worn on the pier, but be mindful of the slots between the wooden boards. Flats are encouraged. Please, no jeans or shorts.
Please only bring the people listed on your invite. Our venue has a very limited number of people it can accommodate.
If you are not staying at the hotel, there is plenty of parking between the hotel and the pier. It says "Permit Parking," but they are aware that a wedding is happening. If the parking attendant asks, just tell them you are with the "Golling-Steinmiller Wedding."
Please RSVP by August 10th, 2026, on our website.
We kindly request that our guests not take photos during the ceremony. We have a fantastic team of professional photographers and a videographer to capture every moment of our wedding so we can all unplug and live in the moment together. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos at the reception.
Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for details on our hotel block. We will have room blocks available at the Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk.
