FAQs

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the Travel tab on this website for hotel block information. Denver has no shortage of other hotel and Air BNB options near the venue. The venue is about 30 minutes from downtown Denver.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The best gift you could give us is your presence at our wedding! If you would still like to contribute a gift, you can view our registry on this website. While we have a few “traditional” registry items picked out, we encourage you to contribute what you wish to our Home Down Payment fund. We already have an apartment full of everything we could need, and we can’t wait to find our forever home!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the ceremony/reception: cocktail attire. We encourage gentlemen to wear suits and ladies to wear knee, midi, or tea length skirts/dresses or pants/jumpsuits. For welcome drinks: casual/come as you are! Remember to dress warm and wear layers! Don’t worry, the barn is heated, but January in Denver means there will likely be snow on the ground.

Question

Can I bring a date, my kids, etc?

Answer

We have put much thought into our guest list, and unfortunately we can only accommodate those who are included in your RSVP list. When you RSVP on our website, you will see all the people invited in your party/family.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue has more than enough parking for all of our guests. We are looking into shuttles and ride share app discount codes, which we encourage you to use. More information to come. The venue is also easily accessible from Denver hotels with any ride share app or taxi. Please do not drive if you plan on drinking.

Question

I’ve never been to Denver. Anything I should know?

Answer

Wear layers! It can warm up (into the 40s, maybe even 50) in the afternoons but get cold cold cold at night. Also, when you’re packing your shoes, keep in mind that there will most likely be snow on the ground. It's the Mile High City for a reason! The air is THIN. It is DRY. You need to HYDRATE. Especially for our loved ones on the east coast whose bodies are used to the humidity: if you’re going out and about, bring a refillable water bottle, maybe even some powdered electrolytes, lotion, and lip balm. You’ve heard of dry heat, welcome to dry cold.
