This is the closest international airport to Philadelphia and only a 20-minute Uber/Lyft/taxi ride to downtown! Another reason we love Philly: the most convenient airport. For savvy travelers, there is also a train into the city from the airport.

If you need to fly into the NYC metro area (for those coming from far), this is the best option. Only a 90-minute drive to Philadelphia, or you can take Amtrak from Newark Airport to Philadelphia with some extra planning.

We have taken Amtrak many times over the past years from New Haven to Philly! This is a great option for anyone traveling from the East Coast: Boston to DC. You can Uber/Lyft to the hotel from the station!
