Wedding Party

Zane

Groom

Marwa

Bride

Ian

Best Man

Groom’s brother Ian is no stranger to adventure. As a park ranger in Utah, he’s spent countless hours exploring the beauty of the wild, traveling the states, and embracing the great outdoors. He is "known" for his "great" sense of "humor," as we have built a unique tradition of gifting each other the most ridiculous items, resulting in lifelong inside jokes. There’s no one better to stand as best man than my "older" "brother," and role model, "Ian."

Rahma

Maid of Honor

Bride's twin sister She is an avid traveler, talented artist, and detailed planner. She works as a Radiology Tech/CT. She has been by my side since the very beginning, sharing all of the important moments together and from afar. She is a sounding board when times are hard, and someone to laugh with when things are good. Much of this wedding could not have happened without her input, ideas, and ever-listening ear.

Fareed

Groomsman

Groom’s friend Working for Wayne State University's Office of International Programs, Fareed has been more than just a friend—he’s been a personal and professional mentor. Whether you’re in need of a Dave's Hot Chicken menu recommendation, Kris Jenner reference, or a spot-on astrology reading, he’s your go-to. He’s been there from the beginning with unwavering support, making him the perfect person to have by my side.

Ines

Bridesmaid

Bride's cousin Ines works as an archival producer and has helped create several incredible documentaries surrounding a variety of topics and time frames. She has lived and worked in NYC for over a decade. Ines has always been more of an older sister than a cousin, always checking in and growing closer as we get older. While our annual-cousin trip isn't always annual, we value and cherish the moments we can connect, catch-up, and explore together.

Errol

Groomsman

Groom's friend Errol and I have been friends since high school, and over the years, he’s stayed the same supportive, easy-going guy I’ve always known. Now working in government, he’s as dependable and grounded as ever, but still always ready to reminisce about our high school art classes, rap battles, and track races. Errol’s been a solid friend through it all, and I’m beyond grateful to have him standing by my side.

Nora

Bridesman

Bride's cousin Nora has worked as a mortgage banker for several years. We have always viewed one another as sisters, and our bond has only strengthened as we get older. She is someone to laugh, dance, vent, gossip, and celebrate with. We share a love for movies, TV shows and music (although she judges my choices).

Nick

Groomsman

Groom's friend Nick and I go back to high school, and since then, he’s always been someone I can count on for support and great conversation when I need it most. Now living in California and working at Google, he’s still the same down-to-earth guy who’s always ready to lend an ear and share his wisdom with me. Seeing how his life has unfolded has been nothing short of inspiring, and I’m grateful to have him by my side.

Kayla

Bridesmaid

Bride's friend Kayla works as a medical assistant. We met a few years ago when she began dating one of my best friends. We've grown very close in the last couple of years, and spend all of our time together laughing. She has become a genuine friend that I can talk to and relax around, without expectations. We always joke that we're the only normal people we know. Though we have only been close for a couple of years, I cannot imagine not having her in my life.
