Is the venue outdoor or indoor?

The venue is outdoors with a reception tent.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Pray for sunshine, prepare for rain. August in Alaska can be beautiful or it can be WET! As our venue is outdoors with a tent, we suggest bringing a light rain jacket or umbrella if it is calling for rain.

Will there be transportation provided to the venue?

Answer

We have hired Reliant to provide a bus from Embassy Suites to the venue and return to Embassy Suites after the event. Pick up at Embassy will be at 2:30 pm with an estimated arrival at Mountain Field Farm around 3:30 pm. The bus will be back at 10 pm to take guests back to Anchorage.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of parking space available for everyone!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We want our wedding to be a celebration for everyone and we plan to party into the night! Your kids are absolutely welcome at this event! Festivities are geared more towards adults and the party may go late, so you may prefer to arrange childcare if that makes more sense for your family.

Have you reserved hotel blocks?

Answer

We did not reserve any hotel blocks. We understand everyone's budget is different and many will opt to rent AirBnBs over hotels. We provided a list of hotels in our "Travel and Accommodations" section of the website. Our number one tip for reserving a hotel room or AirBnB is to READ REVIEWS! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions before booking if you have any hesitations.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We recommend semi-formal attire, but also its Alaska and might rain, so if you're wearing your XtraTufs, we understand! Think to yourself "can I dance in this?" If the answer is yes then go for it!

We will have beer and wine provided and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages.
