Marta and Alex first met in Kansas City in 2021. They were introduced by their mutual friends Adam Dore and Julia Dore (Zerega). Adam and Julia are now honorable members of the wedding party!
In August 2025, Alex proposed to Marta on the riverwalk in Detroit near the Milliken State Park Lighthouse. Followed by a surprise engagement party with friends and family at the Godfrey Hotel.
Marta and Alex live together in Saint Louis, Missouri. As a couple, they love traveling and spending time with friends and family. In 2023, they adopted a rescue dog together, who they've named Ravioli. Ravioli joins her older sister Colli who Marta adopted in college. They are looking forward to years worth of happy memories and adventures to come!
