Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Tuxes and floor length gowns are preferred but not required. For men, a tux or dark tailored suit is appropriate. For women, floor-length gowns, fancy knee or midi length cocktail dresses, or a tailored suit. Additionally, we request that you do not wear white, as it is reserved for the bride. Please feel free to reach out with any questions regarding attire.

Can I bring a plus one/my children?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate children and plus ones that are explicitly listed on your invitation. Please reach out if you have specific questions or concerns.

What will the weather be like in Lexington?

Answer

Lexington has beautiful fall weather - though it is slightly unpredictable. The average high is 65 degrees in October, with average lows in the high 40s. Rain is always a possibility in Kentucky, so be sure to check the forecast before packing your bags!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided from our hotel blocks at the Marriott, 21C, and the Hilton. Buses will pick up guests from their hotel and transport them to the church for the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and from the reception back to the hotels at the end of the night!

Where are the events taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Lexington. The reception will take place at Idle Hour Country Club; transportation will be provided between the two locations after the ceremony.

Answer
