We met in one of the most unexpected places anyone would ever think to meet their future spouse. Picture this - a nearly condemned fraternity house with the floors caving in- hundreds of people in white lies t-shirts - an unknowing Jamie and Abby dancing with their friends. Yet, as fate would have it, Abby sending a cup of frat punch flying and spilling on Jamie would forever change both of our lives on Valentine's Day 2021. As if our meeting weren't memorable enough, a huge snow storm would shutdown the state of Texas a day after we met and would turn our chance meeting into a week of bonding without power and cancelled classes. We both credit that week for the reason we were truly able to get to know each other. At the time, Jamie was a senior at Baylor, soon to graduate and move back to Boston. Abby was a sophomore thoroughly enjoying her time with her friends and focusing on her major. However, once we met, even with unideal circumstances, we were determined to figure out a way to be together. We spent the remainder of Jamie's senior year together almost every day. Jamie even made the jump into meeting Abby's family over Easter less than a month into officially dating. Graduation came significantly quicker than either of us imagined. Before we knew it, May was here and it was time for Jamie to move back to Boston. So began our two years of long distance that started from Waco to Boston and luckily ended between Waco to Austin. Over those years, we learned everything about each other and never spent another day without talking. We became best friends in every sense of the word. This brings us to our final move back to Boston after Abby finished her Master's Degree in 2023. Today, we are living our dream life on the East Coast in the suburbs of Boston and cannot wait to take this next step together!
