Maid of Honor
Camille and Lauren first met while working at The University of South Alabama as campus tour guides and have been inseparable ever since! Camille and Lauren have been through it all together- dingy college bars, a global pandemic, and even a trip to Europe. Camille has been Lauren's right-hand woman since they started hanging out, always going on beach trips in the middle of the week, planning fun themed parties, and celebrating Mardi Gras together. Camille is truly the sister Lauren never had. She is the most thoughtful friend a person could ask for and goes above and beyond for Lauren and Scott. Lauren couldn't picture her big day without her best friend as her maid of honor!

Lauren C and Lauren P have known each other since birth, as they’re actually cousins! They have so many fun memories, including going to Club Libby Lu as girls together, attending awkward middle school dances, and celebrating Mardi Gras. One of the funniest memories of Lauren C was the time she fell down the stairs at the Airbnb during Lauren P’s 21st (don’t worry- she’s okay!). Lauren C has the sweetest personality and tells the best stories, as she works in the film industry as a set costume designer! She is an incredible cousin and a wonderful friend, and Lauren P is so excited to have her as a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Emily and Lauren have technically been friends since the 8th grade when they attended a volleyball camp together, but they became inseparable during their freshman year of high school at McGill. Lauren & Emily have some amazing memories as Emily’s mom, Ms Ashley, hosted the most fun tailgate parties for the band girls every Friday before football games. Lauren and Emily traveled to Ireland with the McGill band together, where they kissed the Blarney Stone and may have accidentally had a spiked coffee! Upon graduation, Emily and Lauren remained close friends and bond over their love of cats and good wine. Emily is an incredibly intelligent person, a sweet and thoughtful friend, and like a sister to Lauren. Lauren is so happy to have Emily as a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Lauryn and Lauren, or Lo and Lil Lo, as they respectively referred to themselves, have been super close friends since meeting each other during Lauren’s first year of color guard with McGill band. Lauryn is like a big sister to Lauren, always looking out for her- like that time Lauren had just started driving and had gotten honked at, and Lauryn almost fought someone in the middle of traffic- that’s when Lauren knew she had a loyal friend for life! They’ve been through so much together, including testing Lauryn’s phobia of birds in Ireland and numerous days of scorching hot band camp weather. Lauryn and Lauren know they’ll be the best of friends for life, and Lauren is so happy to have Lauryn as a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Jane have known each other since they were 10 years old! They were the two worst players on their softball team and bonded in the dugout- they started hanging out outside of games and remained to be best friends throughout life! Jane and Lauren grew up hanging out with each other’s families all the time and their families treated each other like their own- including the time Lauren’s brother pushed Jane into a fake lake at a mini golf course! Jane moved off to Wisconsin for college, but thankfully ended up in Mobile post-grad, where Lauren and Jane always celebrate Mardi Gras and bond over their love of downtown Mobile! Lauren couldn’t imagine her wedding day without Jane being there, and she is so happy to have Jane as a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Dara and Lauren’s very first time meeting was when they were seated by each other in Mrs Pritchett’s class- and if you attended McGill anytime before 2019, you know exactly why we trauma-bonded! Scotty also knew Dara from elementary school, so she has been a witness to Lauren and Scotty’s lives for a long time! Dara & Lauren remained friends in high school and were in the color guard together. They reconnected during college and became super close when Dara moved back to Mobile! Lauren and Dara have so many sweet memories, including numerous girls’ nights and traveling to music festivals together. Dara is the funniest person with a heart of gold & Lauren is so lucky to have her as a bridesmaid!
Best Man
Curt Lilley, our best man, has been an involved friend throughout Lauren and Scotty’s relationship dating back to high school. Curt has been friends with Lauren since middle school, where they were both alumni of St. Dominic’s Catholic School. Curt has countless memories with Lauren & Scotty, including trips to watch football and hockey, making memories at Disney World, and co-founding the annual two-hand-touch pre-Thanksgiving football game, “The Turkey Bowl”, with Scotty. Curt has been there for both Lauren and Scotty every step of the way. Curt is an incredibly kind and thoughtful best friend, and Lauren and Scotty are so lucky to have him as their best man!
Groomsman
As a fellow St. Dominic’s alumni with Curt and Lauren, Ben has been a constant in Lauren’s life since middle school and attended Auburn University with Scotty after high school. Lauren & Scotty have so many memories with Ben; from awkward middle school stories, to Ben’s wide array of costumes at themed parties, to traveling to Europe, and to the mutual enjoyment of an Irish Pub. Ben is always laughing and willing to light up every room he’s in with his silly jokes and questionable dance moves. Ben has been a kindhearted, loyal friend from the beginning—Lauren and Scotty are lucky to have him in their wedding party!
Groomsman
Sterling is one of Lauren and Scotty’s dearest friends, dating back to the high school years when Lauren and Sterling first met. Sterling has always been there for both of us throughout college and navigating adulthood, despite the long distance! Some of our favorite memories with Sterling include going to senior prom in the same group, hosting high school parties, visits to Georgetown & the national mall in Washington, D.C., and trips to the beach whenever Sterling is back in town. Sterling is one of the funniest people we know, always keeping everyone laughing. He truly has a heart of gold and we are so grateful to have Sterling as a best friend. We’re so grateful he’s in our wedding party!
Groomsman
When Scotty started talking to Johnathon in their freshman year literature class in high school, Johnathon didn’t know what to make of him at the time. As it turns out, they would be close, long lasting friends through high school and beyond. Johnathon has many memories with Scotty and Lauren, including drinking capri suns in the ocean, playing Super Smash Bros while burning spaghetti on a beach trip (it was Scotty’s fault too!), trying new restaurants, and even crashing a bike in Amsterdam. Johnathon is a kind friend and is always down for an adventure, even if he spends most of it hanging out in the ocean. Scotty and Lauren are grateful to have Johnathon as a friend and groomsman!
Groomsman & Brother of The Groom
Wes Megginson, the brother of the groom, has been an important part of Scotty’s life since, well, the start of it—they’re twins! Scotty loves Wes as a theater actor and football statistics expert, but foremost as a loving and caring sibling throughout their lives. They have so many sweet memories together as brothers, including growing up going to Auburn football games, doing a dabke at Lebanese club conventions, and now being friendly rivals in their fantasy football league. Even though Wes can use being two whole minutes older than Scotty as a bragging right, he never would because he is a kind and humble brother, and as Scotty calls him, “the better Megg”. Lauren and Scott are excited to have him along on their journey as a groomsman!
Groomsman
As Scott’s longest-tenured friend, there couldn’t be a wedding without Bennett. From dressing up for movie premieres as hobbits and dwarves to annual birthday sleepovers with nerf gun fights, there are countless memories shared between Bennett and Scotty. Their bond as “The Blues Brothers” during their eighth-grade talent show was unbreakable, even with Bennett breaking his arm in Scotty’s front yard right before the show! Lauren got to know Bennett in high school when they were in band together, and they went on the infamous McGill Ireland Band Trip too! Bennett is one of the most cultured and well-traveled people one could ever meet, and he is an intelligent and thoughtful friend. Lauren and Scott are grateful to have Bennett as a groomsman!
Groomsman & Brother of The Bride
Ted, the eldest of Lauren’s younger brothers, is truly a riot. Ted was Lauren’s first friend and first patient once Lauren graduated nursing school! They share so many memories as siblings, including going to Baybears games with their grandfather and going to Gigi’s Beach on Dauphin Island. Scotty was so excited to add another brother to his family, immediately embracing Ted and Trent with love (though some of it was tough love on the basketball court). In addition to his roles as a loving brother, handyman, and occasional bully to Trent, Ted always brings excitement and 100% of effort into everything he does, especially when playing against Scotty and Trent in corn-hole. Ted is an incredible little brother to us both and Lauren and Scott are excited to have him as a groomsman!
Groomsman & Brother of The Bride
Trent is the youngest of Lauren’s two brothers and is always fun to be around! Trent was Lauren’s first “baby doll” and later her favorite prospective student (and now current student) at The University of South Alabama where she was a tour guide! Lauren has so many memories of Trent, including fishing (or a lack thereof) at Gigi’s Beach on Dauphin Island, having a tussle with Chip & Dale at Disney World on the family vacation, and recently Trent dressing up as a clown whenever he loses in fantasy football against Scotty! Trent has made it his life’s mission to lovingly and aggressively treat Scotty as if he were his own blood brother. A wedding between Lauren and Scott wouldn’t be complete without him! Trent is very intelligent, hilarious, and an incredible little brother to us both. We’re so happy to have Trent as a groomsman!
