Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who will be standing by our side as we become husband and wife!

Emily Bevacqua

Maid of Honor

The story of Emily and Rebecca dates back to April 30th, 1999– the very moment Emily was born into the world. Rebecca became instantly fascinated with her adorable little sister and refused to leave her side (quite literally there are very few photos from Emily’s childhood without Rebecca in them). To this day, Rebecca and Emily have been inseparable. They love to sing loudly in the car together, find THE BEST ice cream on every family vacation, and spend hours playing Animal Crossing on FaceTime. Emily has basically become the taller version of Rebecca as an adult but unlike Rebecca, Emily is the worst baker ever. Good thing she’s not in charge of the cake!

Sarah Borchert

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Rebecca first met at Lagrange Middle School where they were the smartest kids in social studies class. Their friendship continued to grow as they had multiple classes together throughout the years and into high school. Sarah grew to love Rebecca’s entire family as she joined them on their annual vacation to Hilton Head. Some of Sarah’s favorite memories and pictures are from their joint birthday parties and homecoming dances. When Rebecca and AJ started dating, it was clear that they had something truly special. Sarah and AJ hit their friendship off just as quickly as Sarah and Rebecca. Growing up together and staying in touch after all these years and now, with just weekly phone calls from miles away, is a true testament to their friendships. Sarah cannot wait to share in Rebecca and AJ’s special day!

Madison Dolecki

Bridesmaid

Rebecca and Madison met in their favorite place; Rhode Island. From nights at Bonvue to dinners on the screened in porch on Palm Beach, their friendship has been through all of the ups and downs. They have survived undergrad, grad school, first jobs, and the stresses of the real world, all while knowing they can count on one another for a funny speech meme on Instagram or a phone call during their hour commutes. Through all of the changes however, one thing has remained a constant: Rebecca and AJs love for one another. Madison is so excited for Rebecca’s big day and is so lucky to be standing by her side! Cheers to Rebecca and AJ and a life of love, ice cream and binge watching TV shows.

Anna Ritz

Bridesmaid

Anna and Rebecca first met in the URI dining hall during the lunch hour rush. Anna was a freshman hoping to make some friends at college but little did she know that she would meet Rebecca who would turn out to be a great mentor and a true best friend! As the years went on in college, Anna and Rebecca’s friendship continued to grow as their love for URI and helping others grew too. They bonded by screaming their heads off at welcome weekends for tour guiding to planning events with the WOWW executive board! Once they graduated from URI they were reunited in upstate New York spending the summers searching for great local lunch spots and nighttime ice cream runs. Anna cannot wait to be at Rebecca’s side for this next adventure as she becomes Mrs. Hermann!

Ashley Martin

Bridesmaid

Rebecca and Ashley met in grad school when they were clinic partners. They went from planning speech therapy sessions together and helping each other with assignments to becoming great friends. Rebecca and Ashley have remained close friends after grad school. They talk almost everyday and always laugh together. They have bonded over their love of crafting, shopping, soft pretzels, and margaritas. Ashley is so happy that she met Rebecca in grad school and can’t wait to celebrate her special day with AJ!

Courtney McDowell

Bridesmaid

Courtney and Becca met at Story Place Preschool. This was Courtney’s first year out of grad school, so Becca quickly took her under her wing. Becca became someone that Courtney could always rely on for support, ideas, or just a vent session. Becca and Courtney have remained in touch since both have left the job. Becca is the type of person that will go out of her way for anyone, always checks in on you, and will celebrate with your accomplishments. She deserves to be celebrated!

Linda Cahoon

Bridesmaid

Natalie Turner

Officiant

Natalie has been planning for Rebecca and AJ’s wedding since high school. From sending that first text to the first date, Natalie had a front row seat in watching two of her closest friends find the loves of their lives in each other. She will always remember secretly texting each one about the other, waiting for AJ to make his move. Since then, she’s been able to hit all of the major life milestones with this amazing duo: graduating high school and then college, first apartments, the start of careers. This next one just gives them one more reason to celebrate! To Rebecca and AJ: Our friendship has spanned cities, states, and continents. I was there from the start and now I get to be there for the “I do.” All I can say is, “très bon. C’est magnifique.”

Ryan Hermann

Groomsman

When Andrew was growing up, he wanted to have a younger sibling and got his wish when Ryan was born, and Ryan couldn’t have gotten a better older brother in return. Ryan remembers fondly spending time with Andrew while growing up, be it playing sports or video games together, to visiting Andrew at college, to more recently Andrew and Rebecca visiting him at Buffalo for family weekend. Ryan is so happy that Andrew and Rebecca met each other all those years ago and can’t wait for the wedding!

Logan Hermann

Groomsman

Logan is Andrew’s youngest brother and the (self-proclaimed) brightest of the Hermann boys. Andrew left for college when Logan was nine, so he doesn’t have many memories of their time together. Logan does remember the first time Rebecca came over to the Hermann house. As soon as he heard her middle name was Ann, he knew the two were meant for each other. After all these years, Rebecca will finally earn the family name… don’t screw it up!

Willie Kops

Groomsman

Andrew's childhood best friend Andrew and Willie have many memories together, from childhood hangouts in Willie’s neighborhood, to giving 15 second presentations in high school English class, to playing Pokémon throughout their childhood and into adulthood.

Tim Arnold

Groomsman

Andrew's college roommate Tim moved into the apartment that Andrew had been living in for a couple years at Albany as a random roommate. Come to find out, he's from two towns over back home and went to Andrew's rival high school. Tim brings the life to any party he goes to, rather, any room he walks into. When Tim is around, there is never a doubt about the fun that is going to be had and the laughs that will be made. In college, Tim definitely liked to have a great time, exploring all of the options that downtown Albany had to offer for extra curricular activities. With that being said, Andrew was always there for Tim to get him up the stairs when needed. Andrew and Tim still hangout whenever they can, often traveling to new breweries around the Hudson Valley and Capital District. If there is something I can count on in life, it's Tim showing up at my door with a 12 pack of Coronas ready to have a good time.

Dave Principato

Groomsman

Andrew's college roommate Dave and Andrew met during sophomore/junior year of college at UAlbany. Andrew lived on the downtown campus and Dave lived in a trap house two doors down, conveniently located next to a halfway house. Both Andrew and Dave joined Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting fraternity, which is ironic because neither of them are now accountants... funny how life works. They lived together for the fall semester one year, but it doesn't feel like it was almost 8 years ago. They would routinely take trips in Dave's Dodge Dart, blasting Fetty Wap with the windows down, to Price Chopper on Central Ave in Albany to do their weekly bottle returns from the weekend before and restock for the next adventure. Dave and Andrew have remained close over the years, even with Dave moving down to Florida and Andrew staying in New York. Dave has been there for many memories, and has created some great stories... just ask him about his fridge on Ontario St.

Kate Reittinger

Groomswoman

Andrew's teacher friend Andrew and Kate met during grad school at UAlbany where Andrew was the only guy in a cohort of girls. They got along from the very start of the program, even if Kate did wonder why this guy was here with all these girls. Kate is the ultimate hype woman, always there for the big occasions in life, never missing a chance to party and celebrate life to the fullest. Kate is full of adventure, stories, and is always there to make more memories.

Jennifer Lawson

Something Blue

Jen and Rebecca met at work and have spent countless hours negotiating with preschoolers, drinking margaritas, and eating the best food. Jen has been a true support and friend to both Rebecca and Andrew through Friday night pizza dates, backyard hangouts, poké hunting, and ice cream dates. They are so excited to have Jen be their very important person (VIP) as their something blue on their wedding day!
