Rental Car
It is recommended that you rent a car if you want to do anything other than our wedding events, especially if you are staying for an extended trip. In most cases, it's also probably cheaper than renting the shuttle for the duration of your whole stay. You can find cheap car rentals on Kayak. We rented through Alamo, and they have some good options and were easy to work with. Make sure you get a car that can handle rough terrain, and that can hide your luggage in the trunk with a trunk cover of some sort.

Travel Note
We have put together a list of recommendations for those traveling on a budget!
Travel Note
Temperatures during February in La Fortuna, Costa Rica are between 72°F-91°F. Travel can change quickly in the jungle, so also be prepared for random bursts of rain showers. The ceremony and reception will have covered areas if it rains.
Travel Note
Montana de Fuego does not have WIFI available in the rooms, however, there are dedicated WIFI areas for people to bring their computer or cell phone to and go online (there is one by the reception office). Another option is to get a daily travel plan from your cell carrier. When we visited Costa Rica, we purchased the day pass from AT&T which allows you to carry over your current data plan to another country for just $10/day, and you can have access to data while you are out and abound, which is great for directions.
