Man of Honor
Josh and I both went to the same elementary school, though we didn’t become acquainted until high school; I had been away at ballet boarding schools for some years. Entering a public high school hardly knowing anyone was daunting, but Josh and I just clicked. He made me feel welcomed and loved and we instantly grew close like siblings. We have been through so many stages of life together, including being roommates. I am such a huge Joshua Kim cheerleader and I could not think of anyone better fit to stand by my side on my wedding day.
Best Man
My younger brother, Connor, has always been more of a big brother to me. I got the honor to be his best man at his wedding. He’s seen me through every stage in my life and there’s no one else to pick for my best man, because he is the best man.
Bridesmaid
Anjelica and I met in high school and quickly became friends. She is someone that makes you laugh until your stomach hurts and she cares so deeply for those in her life. I have had the privilege of watching her mature into a successful, strong and radiant woman. No matter the physical distance between us, she always makes me feel loved, heard and seen. I am honored to have her be a part of my wedding.
Groomsman
I first met Chris at a Starbucks on a January night that would forever change my life. Chris can recite movie quotes word for word like nobody I’ve ever seen. It’s a true honor to have this legend in my wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Sanchari and I met through Anjelica in high school. We clicked through our shared love of cats, dance, humor, and photography. Sanchari is full of passion, talent and is always prepared for anything! She is such a big inspiration to me and I feel blessed to have her as a part of my wedding.
Groomsman
Jonah is my younger brother and one of my best friends. For the better part of my childhood, he was my comfort blanket. He gives me the confidence to be uniquely myself; it is something I admire so much about him! He marches to the beat of his own drum, he has so many passions, he’s a smart ass and I wouldn’t trade him for the world.
Bridesmaid
Spencer and I met in high school, but really grew close in college. I have always admired her ability to keep it real and look flawless doing it. Spencer never fails to keep me laughing and fill my life with joy. I look up to her so much; it means the world that she is a part of my wedding.
Groomsman
Trevor was one of the first people I had met when moving to Richmond. He taught me a combo for my Richmond Ballet audition and we’ve been friends ever since. Many years of wonderful times on stage and off!!
Bridesmaid
Paola and I met in Freshman year in college. Her personality is so magnetic and she is the kind of friend that will never flake on you. She is the definition of girl boss and it has been so fun watching her succeed and grow over the years. I am so elated to have her be a part of my wedding.
Mother of the Bride
My mum is one of my best friends in this world. She has cheered me on in every way imaginable. She is the wind beneath my wings and she inspires me to be a better person. Her creativity and many passions, her wisdom and her strength move me on a daily basis. To be half the woman she is would be the greatest feat in life. The biggest honor is being her daughter.
Mother of the Groom
My mother gave me life and has been there through everything. She has always supported me no matter what. She wears her love for her family on her sleeve like her love for the Hawks. One of her dreams is to dance to ‘Time of my Life’ from her favorite movie Dirty Dancing.
Father of the Bride
My dad is a man that I cherish and look up to in so many ways. We share so many fond memories; commuting to D.C., going on the boat, traveling to different countries. I may not have always been the daughter he deserves, but he has always been the father that any person would be fortunate to have…only I was lucky enough to. He is incredibly supportive, smart as a whip, funny as hell and the kind of man that can silence a room with his moving speeches. He's got one for every occasion ;)
Father of the Groom
My dad was there to get me up out of bed throughout high school and as I began my career as a professional dancer. We commuted together to and from the city of Chicago everyday and without him I would have missed many opportunities. Our forever home away from home is on 35th & Shields or wherever the Chicago White Sox happen to be playing!
Flower Girl
Matt’s goddaughter and niece, Hannah’s soon-to-be niece, and Connor and Melissa’s beautiful daughter, Ruby!
Ring Bearer
Hannah and Matt’s first dog together. Goblin is an Aquarius, like Hannah, so they share the same chaotic energy. Goblin is obsessed with toys, playing fetch, and sleeping in. He will likely be the most unhinged “ring bearer” to ever exist.
Ring Bearer
Hannah and Matt’s second dog together. Vito is obsessed with “marking,” digging, hoarding his treats and is inseparable from his brother, Goblin. Fingers crossed he doesn’t wreak havoc bringing the rings down the aisle.
