Question

What’s the deal with parking?

Answer

There is ample parking at the venue! We will also be providing a shuttle to and from Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump. It will depart from the hotel to the venue at 1:45pm & return back at 10:15pm. Our understanding is that Uber/Lyft may not pick up from the venue. You are also welcome to take the shuttle back to Short Pump where Uber/Lyft does service (approximately 15-20 minutes between Short Pump & The Estate at River Run) if you do not intend on driving :)

Are we allowed to take pictures?

Answer

**UPDATE** Please have the google drive app downloaded to share photos from all throughout the day. There will be QR codes to upload to a shared drive, but you need the app to upload them. ** We are having an unplugged ceremony where phones must be silenced and turned off. We have an excellent photographer and videographer that we have paid to do that job, so you won’t need to ;) However, we will have QR codes around the venue that we would love for you to scan and upload images & videos from every other part of the day. We want to enjoy the day from your POV. Any selfies, group shots, food photos, dancing, pictures of the wedding party and couple are highly recommended!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Festive Formal! Think fun colors & patterns. We want to see your unique style and have you living your most glamorous fantasy. Nothing is too sparkly, bold in pattern or colorful. Use our wedding as an excuse to wear something loud and heavy on the accessories :)

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you include how many of your kiddos will be attending through your online RSVP so that we can plan accordingly, unless your invite specifies otherwise. We plan to have activities to keep them occupied, as weddings can be boring for younger ones. We kindly ask that there are no temper-tantrums, sword fights, and yelling during the ceremony. However, if you want to enjoy your time dancing and drinking child-free that is also allowed :)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure that we are providing enough food for everyone, we ask that you only bring the amount of guests included on your invite. As much as we’d love your uncle Joe or neighbor Susie there, we want to celebrate with those closest to us :)

I have dietary restrictions!

Answer

Please specify any dietary restrictions when you RSVP through our website (or message Hannah) and we will work with the caterer to ensure we can accommodate :) We do have a large group of vegetarian/vegan guests, so our menu will have plenty of non-meat options.
