5:00 PM sharp! We ask that you please plan to arrive 30-45 minutes early to insure nobody misses the ceremony. We invite you to use any free time before the ceremony at Louland to enjoy the venue, music, & fellow guests' company.
Louland Falls is tucked away in a quiet canyon located off of Interstate I-80 between SLC & Park City. We have organized a shuttle service to provide rides To & From the venue & Downtown SLC, departing from The Grand America Hotel. Uber/Lyft are also readily available. Please direct your driver to pull all the way up the driveway until you arrive at the top of the hill. If you decide to drive yourself Louland has ample parking to accommodate +50 vehicles, please park as close to the top of the hill as available space allows.
For the ceremony to remain as intimate as possible we ask that this be an Unplugged Ceremony. Don't worry! We have a professional photographer and will be sure to share our photos with everyone. Feel free to pull out the personal cameras after the ceremony for the reception.
Rain or Shine the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors at Louland Falls, nestled in the red rocks of Parleys Canyon. Expect the venue to be 5-10 degrees cooler outside than the Salt Lake Valley. Sunglasses are recommended & fans/parasols will be available. The ceremony will take place on a grass lawn followed by a cocktail hour and reception on the patio area. Don't worry, there will be a space indoors to catch a quiet moment and relax.
Mark & Nina ask that everyone come dressed to impress in their best formal attire. Men in suits & women in at least knee length dresses. High heels, specifically stilettos, are not recommended due to the uneven terrain at the venue.
Mark & Nina, along with the wedding party, will be staying in Downtown SLC at the The Grand America Hotel. We invite you to join us or pick one of the other options nearby from our "Travel" page. The provided shuttle for the wedding will Pick Up/Drop Off from this hotel as well. If you're looking at larger group rentals we recommend the following neighborhoods; Sugarhouse, Millcreek, The Avenues, Cottonwood Heights or Holladay.
Salt Lake City is easy to navigate! We have a small Light Rail system (TRAX) serving much of the city's downtown as well the airport. Also available are a clean, fast bus system & a growing network of bike lanes. We highly recommend grabbing a Green Ebike to take to the Pioneer Park farmer's market on Saturday morning. See our "Things To Do" page for more options!
Mark & Nina have been together for close to a decade and lived together for half. In that time we have accumulated many, many, things. For that we are thankful. We are even more thankful so many people are able to join us for our wedding day. Truly your presence is gift enough! In that spirit we have foregone a traditional registry in favor of a Newlywed fund. This will assist with the soon to come honeymoon and with many other decisions down the road.
