Question

Answer

We cant wait to see you at our special day and we really hope you can make it. Please let us know by March 9th.

Question

What do I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

It would be a great shame if you cannot make it but if this is the case please do let us know via the RSVP link.

Question

Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?

Answer

No they are not, Both venues are in Wisborough Green, West Sussex. We have arranged a vintage bus to take our guests to and from the church, starting at our reception venue (The Bat and Ball).

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Mostly indoors until we have finished our meal. From around 18:00 we will start to move to an outdoors space at the reception venue. They have a Marquee which will house the DJ and Dance floor.

Question

What time should we arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Please Arrive At The Bat and Ball Country Pub, Newpound Lane, Wisborough Green, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 0EH at 12:30 ready for the bus to leave at 13:00.

Question

Is there available parking?

Answer

Parking is available at The Bat and Ball Country Pub's overflow carpark.

Question

Is there anywhere local we can stay?

Answer

The Bat and Ball has 4 shepherds huts that can be hired out, although these are first some first serve. Alternatively they run their own campsite that a pitch can be booked to stay on. There is also a Travel Lodge in Billingshurst.

Question

Can I bring a plus one/are children allowed?

Answer

Its been a difficult decision to make but only guests who have been told they can bring a plus one and or children can do so. This is so we can keep track of the number of guests attending. If you would like to discus this with us please get in touch.

Question

Is there a dress code and what should I wear?

Answer

Please dress in formal attire, we would recommend that guests wear flat shoes/sturdy heels as there is a short walk from where the bus will drop off and pickup from the church (the pathway and steps are cobblestone/flagstones and are uneven in places). The pub carpark is mainly gravel along with the outside area being predominantly grass.

Question

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

When we return to the reception venue after the wedding there will be a welcome drink and 3 course meal provided for all guests. Additional drinks will be available for guests to purchase from the bar throughout the evening. Last orders will be at 11pm. In the evening there will be cake and we will have marshmallows available for guests to roast on the firepit. There is an outside bar that guests can purchase drinks and extra food from. e.g. chips.

Question

What should we do if we have dietary requirements?

Answer

Our reception venue has provided us with a menu that includes dishes that are/can be made gluten free and vegetarian/vegan. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the menu please email us and we shall contact the venue.

Question

What can we bring you as a gift?

Answer

We are delighted that you will be joining us for our special day and that is a gift in itself. If you would like to do something in addition to this we would be incredibly grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon fund. This can be done via the link provided on the page "Give a Gift".

Question

Do you have a wedding itinerary?

Answer

Yes, this can be found on the schedule section of this website and on the reverse side of your physical invitation.

Question

Can we take photos during the day?

Answer

We have a very talented photographer who will focus on documenting our day. Of course you may take photos yourself, but we ask for guests to avoid using phones whilst in the church. We will also have a photobooth at the reception for guests to enjoy.

Question

Who shall we contact if we have any other questions?

Answer
