Are kids allowed?

Answer

Of course! You're travelling across the country, after all. If you *do* want a babysitter for later in the night, however, and are interested in shared childcare, reach out to us and we can put you in touch with other parents.

The reception is at a brewery. Will we need I.D.?

Answer

The short answer is yes. We've rented out the whole place, but because some of our guests are under 21, the brewery has asked that everyone bring ID. There will be oodles of delicious wine and beer, so avoid disappointment by bringing your license!

HELP! WHAT IS CALIFORNIA WEATHER LIKE IN OCTOBER?!

Answer

It's beautiful! Days are predictably warm and sunny. With that said, most of our wedding will take place outdoors. We'll have heat lamps, although you may want to bring a shawl or light jacket. But leave your parkas and toques at home, eh?!

Your reception is in the woods! Will there be bears?

Answer

Maybe. Always be prepared. You should also be prepared for soft ground. Thick heels will be totally fine, but we'd avoid any stilettos. If you want to wear spikier heels to the ceremony, be our guest - you can bring them in a bag for later! And then use your bag to steal leftover pies, etc.
