Hallettsville is located approximately 1.5 hours from the Austin TX airport and about 2 hours from the San Antonio and Houston Hobby Airport.
There are two main hotels in Hallettsville.
Hotel Texas Hallettsville and Best Western.
As for renting houses, Vrbo seems to have more listed but most are in neighboring communities/Flatonia, Schulenburg, or Weimar.
Some are in the country so depending on what side of town they are located it could be 20 - 40 mins away from the venue so please check.
We are going to stay in Weimar 25 minutes away from Hallettsville.
