Our love story began on February 28th, 2018, amidst the transient chaos of travel. I was bound for the sun-drenched shores of Belize, eager for the respite it promised, while Bobby embarked on a journey to another state, guided by the demands of his career. It was a chance encounter in the flurry of departure, one marked by my initial reluctance to engage. I'm certain Bobby will regale this tale at our wedding, a testament to the twists of fate that brought us together. In the months that followed, a tender friendship bloomed between us, each passing day deepening the connection between our souls. Both of us carried the scars of past heartbreaks, and so we treaded cautiously, mindful of the fragility of newly healed wounds. It took nearly three months before our hearts dared to lean in for that first kiss, a gentle affirmation of the love blossoming between us. As our bond solidified, we introduced each other to the cherished members of our families, weaving our lives together in a tapestry of shared experiences. Our journey together has not been without its challenges. We've navigated through storms of grief and loss, especially with the passing of Bobby's dad. Though his absence weighs heavy on our hearts, we find solace in the memories he left behind, etched forever in our minds. One remarkable aspect of our story is the resilience we've shown during the pandemic. Despite living in separate houses with a 40-minute distance between us, our love endured. Each week, we'd pack a bag of clothes to spend precious moments together, never fully moving into each other's spaces.
