Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Downtown/Loop

We have a discounted room block starting at $149/night. There will be a shuttle from the hotel to Fairlie, along with transportation back to the hotel once the reception is over. The bus will be located on LaSalle Street and will depart from the hotel promptly at 5:00pm. Please do not leave any belongings on the bus as the return transportation will be a different vehicle. There will be a return shuttle on a loop beginning at 10:00pm until the conclusion of the reception at 1:00am. Rooms must be booked by October 18 to guarantee the discounted group rate. For individual room bookings, you may cancel your reservation without a cancellation fee any time prior to 72 hours before arrival.

Flight

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

Midway and O'Hare Airports are both about a 30-minute drive from downtown Chicago and our venue, so both are great options! O'Hare is a larger airport than Midway and more airlines fly into O'Hare than Midway, so depending where you are flying from and on which airline, you may find more options at O'Hare. Lyft and Uber are both readily available from O'Hare to get into the city, however note that all rideshare pickups are from Terminal 2, so if you land in another terminal you will have to make your way over to Terminal 2. There is also a lot of construction happening that is causing delays getting to and from O'Hare from downtown, so make sure you allow extra time as it can sometimes take over an hour when there is more traffic. Alternatively, the Blue Line will get you from O'Hare into the downtown Loop. If you are staying at our hotel block, the closest stop will be to get off at Washington, and walk about 5 minutes to the hotel.

Flight

Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)

Midway and O'Hare Airports are both about a 30-minute drive from downtown Chicago and our venue, so both are great options! Midway is a hub for Southwest flights (they do also fly to O'Hare now, but Midway still has more/cheaper Southwest flights). Lyft and Uber are both readily available from Midway to get into the city. Alternatively, the Orange Line will get you from Midway to the downtown Loop. If you are staying at our hotel block, the closest stop will be to get off at Washington/Wells, and walk about 3 minutes to the hotel.

Train

Amtrak

Amtrak has some great, inexpensive routes, especially from St. Louis. Take the train into Chicago Union Station (CHI), which is located in the downtown Loop, just 6 minutes driving from the hotel block. The best way to get from the train station to the hotel is Lyft or Uber; or a very pleasant 15-minute walk across the Chicago River and through beautiful downtown!
