Wedding Party

Meet some of our favorite people who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Samantha

Bridesmaid

I met Sam way back in 1995 at Barb Denny's School of Dance Arts. Although I was a line skipper and made funny faces in the mirror the entire class, Sam accepted me as a friend. Sam was the very first person that I thought, "This girl is going to be my lifelong friend." Ma, Pa, and the rest of the Burning clan took me in as one of their own for summers at a time. Between those summers, the family vacations, and the hours at the dance studio, I always felt like we were family. I don't know if we officially made the decision, but I know will be 80 years old, still causing a ruckus, hopefully somewhere tropical. Together we have traveled the world from Hawaii, to New York City, to Japan, and we have proven no distance can break our friendship. How lucky am I to have had her as a friend for over 25 years? I am so excited to share this monumental moment (and many more) with her by my side!

Meghan

Bridesmaid

I used to laugh when Meghan would sit on the floor while getting her books out of her locker. I also thought for all of 6th grade that she was another classmates twin sister. Once I figured out who she was and got to know her we became the best of friends. We entered what seemed to be an eternity of awkward years together. She helped paint my nails black when I wanted to be edgy and cut gym class with me so we could belt showtunes in the locker room. I honestly don't understand how our grades were so great in school because we would goof off in every class we had together. One of my favorite things about Meghan is her sense of humor, I can always be my silliest with her. Separating for college nearly broke my heart, but no distance can take away how much fun we have when we are together. I always look forward to getting kicked out of restaurants with her when we overstay our welcome. It seems there is never enough time for us to catch up. I am so proud of all she has accomplished and love bragging about what a complete boss she is.

Alexandra

Bridesmaid

Alex is the mom of the group and has gotten us out of so much trouble through the years. Don't be fooled though, she knows how to have a good time. She is responsible but will also inspire an impromptu bar crawl in downtown Buffalo on any random afternoon. I am so happy our friend Emily introduced us on my front porch in 7th grade. We both assumed we were another one of Emily's many dance friends. I wasn't sure if I would be seeing her again so I acted extra strange during our first meeting, but Alex didn't judge. Alex has always been a wonderful listener and advice giver, I can come to her with any worry in the world. It has been so wonderful to watch Alex become a wonderful Occupational Therapist, an amazing wife, and my favorite, a sweet beautiful mother to her little boy. I am in awe of the person she is.

Sarah

Bridesmaid

Sarah and I met at Mercyhurst University, she was a freshman and I was a wild junior. I can honestly say, without Sarah entering in my life, I'm not sure I would be working my dream job and have this wonderful life. When I first met her, I was instantly jealous. She was kind, funny, smart, driven and everyone liked her. I honestly was having the worst year of my life and instead of Sarah judging my lack of ambition, and hipster attire, she friended me. For the next two years of college, I watched Sarah work hard everyday, she was always doing more than what was asked of her. She inspired me to take my studies seriously and push myself to become a great educator. Every time we get together we instantly caffeinate, talk 10,000 words per minute, and giggle until we can no longer hold our eyes open. I am so beyond grateful our paths crossed.

Kendra

Bridesmaid

I honestly thought I would spend a couple years in Maryland and then go right back to Buffalo. I missed my family and friends....but then I met Spencer. As we know, he ruined that plan. I had my wonderful cousins, a dream job, and now a dream guy, but something was still missing. I needed some girlfriends! On our first date Spencer told me about his awesome roommates and spoke so highly of Kendra. I was so nervous to meet Spencer's famous roommates and I really wanted to befriend Kendra. I quickly found out that I had nothing to worry about. She made me feel so welcomed in her home and their friend group right from the start. She never made me feel like an outsider looking in and was always so easy to talk to. I absolutely love the friendship she shares with Spencer and I am so happy she has supported our love story from the start. I adore the kindness that pours out of her and am so grateful for her acceptance of me. I am so excited to see where our friendship will take us!

Molly

Bridesmaid

When I found out about Molly, I was SO EXCITED! I heard Timmy talking about this girl he was completely smitten with and I thought, "This girl better be the most wonderful thing since slice bread!." Spoiler alert, she is! From the beginning, Molly just fit right in, she brings the life to every single party and we have so much fun together. We are able to share so much, stories from our crazy teacher lives, our favorite juicy books, and even the same celebrity crushes. (We love you Craig!) Molly is very much the glue of our little crew. She truly values friendship and the time we spend together, which is something I admire everyday. She takes the time to send sweet random notes in the mail and is always planning our next hangout. I love that I have a friend who likes to get together for hours to share good food and conversation. I know this is just the beginning. I cannot wait to continue more of our sharing in the future, and am so grateful we have each other to navigate this next chapter of our lives together!

Timmy

Groomsman

If you ask anyone about Timmy, they will undoubtedly tell you what a great guy he is. There is absolutely no lie in that statement. Our friendship spans back through high school and is easily one of the best friendships anyone can ask for. Timmy is the type of guy that will answer your call and drop anything he's doing in your time of need. Add in that contagious laugh of his; you couldn't ask for a better friend.

H

Groomsman

I think I met H back in middle school through a mutual friend. We went through high school seeing each other at various gatherings but didn't really ever hang out until his Wife, Kendra, suggested I become their roommate. Little did I know H would break me out of my shell a little bit and encourage me to have so much fun; often times, too much fun. H is a great friend and was a great roommate.

Corey

Groomsman

I met Corey in the third grade and instantly became best friends. We've had so many memories together from soccer, camping, concerts, sleepovers, really anything you can think of. I like to think of Corey as a brother, and his family as my second family.
