The ceremony will begin right at 5:00pm at Perigeaux Winery. We will be offering a welcome drink before the ceremony. We suggest arriving between 4:15-4:45pm.
Perigeaux Winery is an outdoor venue. The ceremony will take place under trees, cocktail hour will be throughout the vineyard, and the reception will be under a tent. There is a tasting room and indoor bathrooms. September in Southern Maryland can be absolutely beautiful or extremely hot. Garden attire is appropriate, we suggest summer dresses, florals, suits in lighter hues, light dress pants and button up shirts, whatever is most comfortable for our guests. Sandals or wide heeled shoes would be wise, we will be on grass.
Please refer to the "Travel" tab for more information on our hotel blocks. There will be a bus shuttle to and from the venue, if you are staying at either of the two hotels.
Yes! There will be a school bus shuttle from our two hotels. The bus will leave The Solomons Inn Resort and Marina at 4:00pm and will leave the Hilton Garden Inn at 4:10pm. The bus will arrive at the winery around 4:30pm for the welcome drink before the ceremony. At 9:30pm, the bus will leave the reception for the hotels.
The winery does have parking for cars. You will be directed where to park upon arrival.
Although we adore your children, we have decided to have an adults only wedding. We hope to provide parents a fun night out!
We will be having an optional welcome drink on the island about 10 minutes from the hotels on Friday night. Anyone can stop by to say hello! We are still looking for a brunch spot on Sunday. For more information and to stay updated, keep an eye on the "Schedule" page.
Our registry is also on this website, click the "Registry" tab to view. We also have included a Honeymoon fund on the registry. You have the option to send gifts to your home or to ours, which ever is easiest. Please know that your presence at our wedding is the perfect gift!
