Fun spot to grab a bite to eat with an orange crush. Take a walk around the island and enjoy little shops and the beautiful view of the Thomas Johnson Bridge. Some of our favorite spots include, Tiki Bar, The Lighthouse, Island Hideaway, The Pier, Charles Street Brassiere and Lotus Cafe.
Similar to Solomons Island, Leonardtown is a cute little spot to grab a coffee at Social and walk down by the water at the Wharf. We love the food at The Front Porch and Sweetbay, the wine bar next door is the cutest. The Rex, Olde Town Pub, Leonardtown Winery and Brudergarten are great spots to grab a drink. If you enjoy activities, there is an escape room and a Board and Brush.
Not far from our venue, this winery has live music, delicious food, and even a brewery. Get a table under an umbrella, sit back and relax. If you are still hungry after wine tasting check out Brick in Prince Frederick or get some homemade ice-cream at Mrs. Moo's Corner at Spider Hall Farm.
About 45 minutes away, another wonderful spot to walk the boardwalk, stop in little shops and have a delicious meal. We love Hook and Vine, Ketch 22, 1936 Bar & Grill and The Wheel House Beer Garden.
If you would like to get the most out of Labor Day weekend, stay a night in our Nations Capitol! Walk the monuments, browse the Smithsonian's check out Marisa's favorite art museum steps away from the White House, The Renwick Art Gallery and get THE BEST oysters at the historic Old Ebbit Grill. If you can snag a reservations at Founding Farmers, you will not regret it!
Just like the other spots, walk the water, browse the shops, and eat at the many restaurants and bars lining the coble stone King Street. Old Town is a great spot with cute boutique hotels and is only a 10 minute drive or taxi boat ride from the National Harbor. You can see our Nation's Capitol from a different view.
