The fearless leader of the Briggs kids. The oldest child of the groom's family, possibly the smartest. She's an accomplished documentary film-maker, wife, and mother of three. I know how lucky I am to have such an inspired older sibling to look up to. If I've got my finger on the pulse, I learned it from her.

Christen, aka CP, is my bride's oldest girlfriend who is considered to be more of a sister than anything. Marisa would tell CP where the body is buried. Heck, CP would have helped her bury it.

Middle sister to the groom. Connor is a wife, mother of three, middle school teacher, and a singer-songwriter. She's one of the most talented people I know with a serious funny bone. She's a triple threat in any of her endeavors, AND she teaches math.

Alisha and Marisa were college roommates in Miami, then socialites in New York City until Alisha met her mate, Nick. Now living in the heart of Silicone Valley, with a recently added family member, for a total of 4, the Huber's are making the huge trip to be by my bride's side.

Youngest older sister to the groom. Closest in age, furthest apart in accomplishments. I'm pretty sure it's Dr. Briggs now. Aynsley lives her life like a Hemingway novel. She's smart, adventurous, and courageous.

Giselle, aka GQ, is Marisa's other best friend from college. After college, these two wound up in NYC together where the wine nights and sleepovers ran deep. Giselle met her husband in college, well before Marisa met her Prince Tinder. Now a mother of two, Giselle gives Jackie O a run for her money.

The only guy from Virginia that was not asked to resign. My cousin by blood and brother by choice, he's one of the best guys I know and a new dad, with another on the way. It's hard to think someone of his caliber could marry up, but he did.

Francesca, aka Hooch, is a longtime childhood friend of Marisa. They first met through competitive cheerleading in middle school, then onto college, then Spain, and now a long-distance friendship - with Francesca as a leading defense attorney in Tampa, and Marisa running a national fashion brand, Francesca has always been by Marisa's side. I always tell Marisa, a good defense attorney is hard to find. The only thing she's better at than law is friendship.

Lee is either switching out a fuel pump in an ol' CJ or making his own dough for strombolis. His culinary ingenuity in the kitchen is inspiring. Lee's zest and adventurous spirit are matched only by his sense of humor...and his palate.
