Some of us will be golfing on Friday morning, 2/28, our tee time starts at 8:07 am. If you'd like to join us, call the number above, ask for Fernando and to be added to our group under #1289. Greens and cart fees are $80 and rental clubs are $25 ($105 total). Let Fernando know how many you are and he will organize the foursome or add you to a group to make a foursome, fivesomes are also welcome (hell yeah, Fernando). You pay when you get there. We'll have a bus pick us up at the Omni around 7 am, and we'll leave the course to return at 1 pm. No excuses using rental clubs...it ain't the arrow, it's the Indian.

When Marisa and I first came to New Orleans together she excitedly encouraged we go on her favorite walking tour of the quarters. You're gonna learn all about the history of New Orleans while enjoying a beverage and a stroll on the dark streets of the French Quarter.
This place is amazing. From the outside, it's an unassuming typical New Orleans building. Nothing more than a door to dip into to hide from the French Quarter madness. Upon entering, you are transported to an amazing, marble, 20 ft. ceiling social club in Cuba. Complete with dominoes and a full bar to pair your cigar with. I feel fairly confident saying I'll see some of you there.
This unforgettable open-air coffee shop was established way back in 1862 and serves cafe au lait and a beignet, the state doughnut of Louisiana. The line is always down the block, but it moves faster than a NYC taxi stand. Cash only.
