On September 24, 2023, Mikey proposed to Marina at his Uncle Ray and Aunt Lisa’s house with an incredible view of the ocean. Mikey orchestrated all of Marina’s close friends and our family to watch this moment from afar. After Mikey proposed, everyone ran out to surprise Marina. What truly captivated us all about this special day was the weather. Mikey proposed in the middle of a tropical storm - rain and high winds all weekend. Mikey continued to say “rain or shine!” And everyone just prayed the rain could at least take a 10 minute break! But God had other plans….After Marina said yes, the clouds had opened up, the sky turned bright blue, and the sun beamed from the sky. It was a sight none of us expected to see on that stormy day. Not only were our loved ones there to witness and celebrate our engagement, all of guardian angels were too.
