Travel Note
Most of our guests will fly into Madrid and travel to Toledo the weekend of the wedding. Traveling from Madrid to Toledo is easy and can be done by train, bus, or car. Below are some options we recommend.
Train
The Renfe (railway system in Spain) travels from Madrid to Toledo daily and is the fastest and most convenient method. Departure Station: Madrid Puerta de Atocha Arrival Station: Toledo Railway Station Train Operator: Renfe (Avant high-speed trains) Duration: ~33 minutes Frequency: Trains run approximately every hour. First Train: Around 6:50 AM Last Train: Around 9:50 PM Ticket Price: Typically ranges from €10 to €15 one way.
Shuttle

ALSA is a local Spanish shuttle company that travels from Madrid to Toledo daily. This is the cheapest option. Duration: ~50 minutes to 1 hour Operator: ALSA Departure: Plaza Elíptica Bus Station (Madrid) Arrival: Toledo Bus Station Frequency: Every 30 minutes Cost: ~€6 one way Booking: ALSA Official Website; https://www.alsa.es
Rental Car
Renting a car is the most flexible option. Rental companies are available at the Madrid Airport and city center. Above is a link for rentalcars.com, operated by Bookings.com. Please choose the company of preference. Duration: ~1 hour (72 km / 45 miles) Route: A-42 Highway Parking in Toledo: Limited, so use public parking areas near the old town.
