Regarded as the "Catedral Primada" in Spain, it is the most important cathedral in the country. Marvel at the soaring columns, intricate design and masterpieces by El Greco and Goya.
Mirador del Valle is a renowned viewpoint situated just outside Toledo's historic center, offering one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Perched on the southern edge of the city, it provides an elevated perspective of Toledo's medieval skyline, nestled within a bend of the Tagus River. It is a breathtaking view, but in our opinion it's best to see it at night. For reference, check out the picture in the header, but we promise it doesn't do justice.

Puy du Fou España, located in Toledo, is a unique historical theme park that offers immersive experiences through spectacular shows and reenactments. The park is renowned for its grand nighttime performance, El Sueño de Toledo (The Dream of Toledo), which has been recognized as the best show in the world. It is also a theme-park during the daytime. We haven't been ourselves, but will make sure we have time to go in October after the wedding. All the locals recommended it with spectacular reviews.

A stylish and multi-level eatery set in a historic building that blends traditional architecture with modern design. Great for a casual and delicious dinner. Filled with local families and young souls in dates. We would describe the food as classic Spanish cuisine with a modern twist.
Toledo has a million tabernas. These cozy establishments often feature rustic decor, wooden tables, and an inviting atmosphere, serving up classic tapas, regional wines, and refreshing beers—making them perfect for socializing and experiencing authentic Spanish culture. Our favorite one is Taberna Botero, where the newly weds went multiple times for gin tonics and wine. It's a small establishment that gets packed with locals from 3-5pm, the time in Spain where establishments close and locals get ready for a siesta, or in this case, a refreshing drink with company. Find a taberna in the city, sit down with a glass of beer, and enjoy!
Another taberna we particularly enjoyed with outdoor seating.
