Spain has held a special place in Maria Isabel’s heart ever since her semester abroad. We’ve always dreamt of saying “I do” in a finca, immersed in history and timeless charm. When life presented us with the perfect opportunity in Maria Isabel's favorite country, we simply couldn’t resist.
For the pre-wedding ceremony, you’re welcome to dress comfortably, with dressy/smart casual attire preferred. Formal attire is required for the wedding ceremony and reception (e.g., dark suits with tie for men and long dresses for women).
October in Toledo brings mild and pleasant autumn weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from 18-24°C (64-75°F) and cooler evenings around 8-12°C (46-54°F). While most days are clear, occasional light showers are possible, as the city experiences 5-7 rainy days throughout the month. Humidity levels are comfortable, and gentle breezes are common. Since the wedding will take place in the fall, we recommend dressing accordingly—ladies, consider bringing a small jacket, or scarf, and men, the same goes for you! There will be a coat check available for your convenience.
We have always envisioned this day beneath the open sky, and our wedding is planned accordingly. However, Toledo’s weather, like that of any place, can be unpredictable. Should nature have other plans, we have a beautifully arranged indoor setting prepared as an alternative.
We would love to accommodate everyone from all ages. However, due to limited guest availability our wedding is an adults only event.
Getting around Toledo is quite easy thanks to its compact size and well-preserved historic center. Most visitors explore the city on foot, which is ideal for wandering narrow medieval streets, discovering hidden plazas, and enjoying landmarks up close. Bring comfortable shoes since many parts of Toledo are uphill. For longer distances, there are taxis readily available. The number to call for taxis from the Taxi Central Toledo is 925 25 50 50.

We’re so grateful that you’ve traveled so far to be with us on our special day—your presence really is the best gift we could ask for. If you'd like to give us something, we’d be thankful if you considered contributing to our honeymoon or newlywed fund. You can find more details in the "Registry" section above.
As U.S. citizens, we do not require a visa to enter the European Union. However, a valid passport is necessary for entry into Spain. Please ensure that your passport is not expired and that its expiration date is at least six months beyond your planned date of departure.
