Leo Middea (CONFIRMED!)
Singer/Songwriter
Leo Middea, at 27 years old, hails from the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro and has traveled the world with his guitar playing a new generation of Musica Popular Brasileira (MPB). Currently he resides between Lisbon and Barcelona. Rob and Mariana saw Leo play in Camden, London, in 2021 and loved his music and overall vibe. We especially like his most recent album "Gente". Check him out on Spotify or on his current European tour! Rob and Mariana will be seeing him in London on February 3, 2024, but tickets are selling out fast as he has been recently selected as a Portuguese Eurovision Contest finalist and his popularity is exploding! Most importantly he has agreed to accompany our aperitif session with a solo performance on May 11!

Tuna - Traditional Academic Band
Founded in 2007, Imperial TAFFUC - Tuna Academica da Faculdade de Farmacia da Universidade de Coimbra is the male academic group from the Faculty of Pharmacy from the University of Coimbra. Some of the wedding attendees - including our "Bridesmen" - are founding members of this "Tuna". They will perform on Friday, May 10th at the Welcome Dinner at Tertulia de Eventos in Coimbra.

For those that have attended previous "Mancha Roxa" weddings you are familiar with the DJ Ze Pedro Ramoa. Originally from Braga, Ze Pedro knows how to keep the crowd moving with any type of music. He started his career as a DJ at the Pacha, a famous disco in Porto, and hasn't stopped since. Thank you Bia & Fi for the discovery!

We will be offering a side program for our little friends joining our wedding: -4:30pm to 9pm: we will have two entertainers who will be playing games, painting faces and reading to the little ones. -8pm to 1am: we will have 2-3 babysitters who will be in our improvised nursery looking after the sleepy ones. We will create a WhatsApp Group for the parents so the babysitters can contact you if your child needs your presence during the evening. Hopefully they will just be sleeping, allowing you to party all night long!
