Hotels vs Airbnbs

If you are trying to decide whether to stay at the hotel or stay at an Airbnb/Vrbo, here is some advice: There are several great houses right on the lake that would make for a great option, however we recommend you find one in the Mooresville area because it would be easier to get an Uber to the ceremony. Apparently, it can be difficult to get an Uber in Denver where the Ceremony and Reception will be held! Feel free to reach out to Mariah or Jake if you have a question about the location of a rental house!

This is one of the hotels that we will have a room block at. It is right next to the location of our welcome party. This will be where the shuttles will pick up and drop off guests. The hotels are approximately 30 minutes (20.4 miles) away from the wedding venue, so be sure to leave ample time if you are driving yourself to the wedding.

The shuttle will depart the Aloft hotel at 3:00 PM - if you need transportation to the venue, please be sure to arrive in time!

The shuttles will be picking up guests at 9:45 PM and returning everyone to the Aloft.

Taxi Information

It can be difficult to get Ubers and Lyfts in some parts of Lake Norman. We have had a lot of good luck with Lake Norman Shuttle when going to and from the airport. We definitely recommend checking them out if you have an early/late flight!
