We are hoping for beautiful weather so that we can have the ceremony outside, so bring a wrap/coat. In the event that it is rainy/too cold we will be holding the ceremony inside - thankfully our venue has beautiful options for all circumstances! We will be making the official decision the day before the wedding and will update the website with the ceremony location - you can find it here or on the front page of the website!

We would love for you all to get dressed up with us to celebrate our marriage! The dress code is Black Tie Optional - emphasis on the optional! We know you all will look great no matter what?
The welcome party is at one of our favorite breweries in Mooresville so the dress code will be dressy casual. We want you to be comfortable, and look good while you are at it! There is an outdoor, rooftop bar that has heaters and blankets, but be sure that you have a coat on hand in case you need it!

We have a hotel block at the Aloft in Mooresville, and a discount at Tru by Hilton in Mooresville (right next door to the Aloft). We would love for you all to stay there! The Shuttles will be picking people up before and after the wedding from the Aloft. It is also within walking distance of the Welcome Party at Overflow on Friday night! There are also a ton of great Airbnb/Vrbo options on Lake Norman. If you are looking into this option, we recommend that you stay near Mooresville. Denver, where the wedding venue is, is a bit less populated, so we were warned it could be difficult to get Ubers/Lyfts late at night from the venue. If you all do choose to stay in Denver, where there are some great homes, we just want you to be sure that you have a safe plan to get back to your house at the end of the night! Due to capacity limitations at our venue, and to allow all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and enjoy themselves, we’ve elected to make our wedding a child-free event. The only children at our wedding are those in the wedding party and babies under the age of three months. If you have any trouble arranging child care, please let us know - we would be happy to help find someone!
Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation. For example, if you have a plus one, your address will be listed as "Mr. / Miss XYZ & Guest". We want everyone to share in the celebration and this will ensure that we are surrounded by our closest friends and family. We hope you understand!
