Toucan's Lakefront Restaurant
Toucan's is one of our favorite restaurants on the lake! If you are in the mood for some delicious food, fun drinks (a Piña Colada or two never hurts), and a great view of the lake, be sure to stop in! Toucan's is two doors down from the McKenrick house so it's safe to say it's a family favorite too! The bridal party will be stopping in for lunch on Friday (somewhere from 11-1), maybe we will see you there too!!
Hello, Sailor
Hello, Sailor is Mariah's favorite lakefront spot - the food there is delicious and so are the drinks! It's one of the top places on the lake for a reason! They also have a sister restaurant, Milkbread, that is nearby the hotel that is great!
South End
If you have a car, or a ride-share app, and a few hours to kill, South End is a great area in Uptown Charlotte! It is loaded with tons of breweries, restaurants, parks, and cool stores. It's about a 30 minute drive from the Aloft in Mooresville! Be sure to check out Sycamore Brewing, The Suffolk Punch, and Wooden Robot Brewery while you are there!
Birkdale Village
Birkdale is a great spot just a few exits south of where the hotels are! They have some great restaurants, good shopping (if you are into that), and they have it all decorated for the holidays right now!
