We have been working with a Certified Destination Wedding Specialist to arrange the best travel packages for our wedding and have a special block of rooms held for our guests. To ensure all planning is well coordinated, we encourage everyone to make their arrangements through the following: 1. Please sign into our Wedding Website from the Attend a Wedding page on DestinationWeddings.com 2. Enter Passcode: DESTINATION2025! 3. Creat an account and it'll take you to booking details. Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us or our travel agent, Samantha Russom. Email her at srussom@destinationweddings.com for any of your questions. 4. We recommend all our guests to purchase a Travel Protection Plan with Cancel for Any Reason Waiver to protect you and your loved ones in case you can’t make it to our wedding due to any circumstances. Keep in mind that travel insurance should be added ON THE DAY of your initial booking. You cannot add this option after, and should you cancel for any reason without the travel protection plan, you will be responsible for any penalties or fees incurred. Please reach out to Samantha (email address above) for any questions. 5. We have a total of 25 rooms blocked. This room block has the best rates, including ground transport. We encourage everyone to book their initial deposit of $100 to secure their rooms. Keep in mind that your initial booking deposit will count towards your room payment, which is due on November 8, 2024. You will have until this time (if you prefer payment plan) to pay off your booking. Otherwise, if all rooms are booked, feel free to contact our Travel Agent, Samantha, for any other good deals, use a third-party vendor, or book directly at the hotel’s website.

Travel Note

Accommodation

If you find a better accommodation than Hyatt Ziva and planning to attend our wedding, please let us know in advance because we need to notify our wedding coordinator that we have attendees staying at different hotels. You need to have wedding passes to enter the premise of our wedding venue. Final head count is due on October 29, 2024. Due to the nature of destination weddings, we won’t be able to accommodate any last minute requests. Please be informed that there is a mandatory ‘wedding day pass’ for wedding attendees not staying at Hyatt Ziva, which cost $180 per adult and $90 per child, which you will pay for. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Shuttle

Ground Transportation

March 27, 2025 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Your transportation from Cancun Airport to Hyatt Ziva Cancun (back and forth) is included in your reservation if booked through our travel agent. Our travel agent, Samantha Russom, will arrange this for you. Otherwise, there are few options on how to get to Hyatt Ziva from Cancun airport. You can either rent a private shuttle, a car rental, a shared shuttle, or a taxi. If you’re the adventurous type like Angelo, the cheapest way to get there is to take the ADO bus from Cancun airport. Simply make your way out to ground transportation exit at the airport, look for ADO (sign), pay your fare at one of the ADO stalls, then hop in on the bus. The bus is air-conditioned, have comfy seats and staff will help you to put your up luggages. Travel time varies on the traffic. This bus will stop at Cancun bus terminal. From there, transfer to a local bus R1 or R2 going to Hotel Zone and get off at the Hotel.

Travel Note

Timeshare/scam

Cancun is notorious about selling timeshares or luring you to the idea that you can get free stuff or accommodation by simply attending one of their presentations. It starts at the airport and travels all throughout Cancun catering to all the tourists. If this is your first time in the area, respectfully turn down their offer and just head on your way.
