We're getting married!

Blake and Maria met one sunny day at Third Coast Volleyball Club. Blake was asking for a volleyball partner, and Maria volunteered. (She remembered meeting his dog, Daisy, the week prior. She was a sweet and outgoing pup, and it's always reliable to judge a man based on his dog.) They continued to stay in touch, and soon after, they had their first date on Blake's birthday at Kinneally's Irish Pub. Since then, when they aren't playing sand volleyball, they've enjoyed every St. Patrick's Day wearing green and celebrating together!

Blake and Maria like that their anniversaries are on already-existing holidays! Over Memorial Day weekend, Blake and Maria met up with their closest friends at the bay house in Port O'Connor Texas. At sunset on Saturday evening, Blake asked Maria to come down to the dock for a suprise. He didn't have a long speech memorized. But he told her what mattered the most; how much he loved her, and that he wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of their lives together. And, he asked if she'd marry him. She said, "Yes!" Now they'd love to share their happy day with you!
