Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University
You will get a chance to visit the main exhibits of the museum for free during the wedding. However, there's much more to explore! We highly recommend you visit again on your own time to: - visit the Quarry to dig for (and keep!) REAL fossils - check out Critter Cove, located downstairs - try the VERY cool VR experience. Seriously. It's SO cool.
Uptown Pitman
Pitman is a short car or bus ride away from downtown Glassboro. There are a ton of great restaurants and shops down Broadway. Some of our personal favorites include: - Milkweed Table + Market, an Instagram-chic brunch spot (note: cash only!) - Gentle Giant Cafe, a fantastic vegan lunch spot - Words Matter Bookstore, an indie bookstore with a great selection of new and used books, plus stickers and gifts for book lovers - Maxine's Uptown Boutique, THE place for crystals, new age books, and secondhand designer handbags - Crave, a bakery that makes the BEST cookies - The Broadway Theater of Pitman, known for putting on all sorts of shows!
Rowan Boulevard
Downtown Glassboro, a.k.a. Rowan Boulevard, is where the Courtyard Marriott is located. It's also home to numerous restaurants, an escape room, and the Rowan University Bookstore (Barnes & Noble). Some of our favorite spots include: - Cookie Munchers - Mexican Mariachi Grill y Tequila Bar - High Grounds Coffee Roasters (located on High St., across the street from the park) - Landmark Americana (located at 1 Mullica Hill Rd., a block east of the Courtyard)
