Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 1st by mailing back the RSVP card that will be sent with our formal wedding invitation. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner. We hope to see you there!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and the reception will be held indoors in climate-controlled venues.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! Formal wedding attire for gentlemen may include a blazer, dress shirt and tie, and dress trousers, or a traditional suit. Formal wedding attire for ladies may include floor-length gowns or mid-length cocktail dresses.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 pm. We recommend you aim to arrive 15-30 minutes before to ensure you are able to comfortably find a seat.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available on-site at both the church and the reception venue.

Question

Will there be a time gap between the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, the wedding ceremony will be held at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church in Utica, New York. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm and last approximately one hour. The cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing will be held at Timber Banks Country Club in Baldwinsville, New York beginning at 6:00 pm. The time gap between the ceremony and the reception will be approximately three hours, but please keep in mind that travel time between the two locations will take approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. If you have reserved a hotel room at the TownPlace Suites Marriott in Liverpool or the Hampton Inn Syracuse Clay, we would suggest that you check in to your room no later than 4:30 to give yourself some time to freshen up before the shuttle arrives at 5:30 to transport guests to the reception.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, a private shuttle will be provided. The shuttle will depart from both the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Liverpool and the Hampton Inn Syracuse Clay at approximately 5:30 pm to transport guests to the reception venue, Timber Banks Country Club. Following the reception, the shuttle will depart to transport guests back to both hotels.

Can I bring a plus one/guest?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will appear on your invite. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Are my children welcome?

Answer

While we love kiddos, we are asking guests to refrain from bringing children unless otherwise stated on your invitation.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you! Please drink responsibly ;)
