Throughout our lives, our paths have crossed on multiple occasions without us knowing. Between running cross country against each other at rivaling schools back in middle school to Joey playing baseball in high school against Maria’s brother Ryan, we had been on similar but parallel routes early on in our lives. There have even been instances when we have appeared in each other’s home videos from when we were very young. Imagine our surprise when we saw these videos years later! These parallel paths eventually merged when a mutual friend brought our lives together. From that point forward, we have shared countless memories leading up to this very special day. Some of our favorite memories together include our first date at Nicky Doodles ice cream shop, attending many concerts, our trips to New York City around the holidays, attending St. John Fisher University together, our trips to Disney World, and, of course, our annual trips to Topsail Island, North Carolina. This is the place where one big question was asked that started our new chapter toward forever. With many of our milestones together occurring in August, including when we began dating and when we got engaged, we could not think of a better month to tie the knot.
